Dogs on Thursday

Can it be Dogs on Thursday already? Tara says "What do you mean 'already'? EVERY day should be 'Dogs on Thursday'!" To spite me, this is the best picture I could get of her, and yes, she is sticking her tongue out at me. I get no respect.

Here is the lovely Emma. She would like to do something cute and creative for this week's picture, but she is just too tired. You see, she has been spending the better part of two weeks trying out new places to sleep at night. Mommy's bed is no longer good enough. She has to wander around. She has been in the other bedroom, the dining room, the living room...all in an effort to get away from me, I am sure. I take my pillows and follow her, and she promptly gets up and wanders to another spot. Let me tell you, it hurts my feelings! I give her everything she could ever want, and this is how she repays me? I scratch her ears when they need scratching...I rub her belly when it needs rubbing...I kiss her nose when it needs kissing...I lift up the covers so she can climb under them when she is chilly. Suddenly she is developing an independent streak. I won't have it, I tell you! She will snuggle up and sleep with me, or else! Or else, what? I'm not sure. I haven't figured that out, yet. It will most likely involve grovelling (on my part) and the dispensing of an enormous quantity of treats and beef jerky.

They are really beautiful dogs! I love their coloring and such expressionate faces.
I hope you work out your sleeping troubles soon. Some dogs are just like that as they get older.
Our dog always sleeps in her 'house' at night. It is kind of funny actually. Like clock work at 10pm everynight she will get up from where ever she is and go to her house and turns around three times and goes to sleep until morning.

I know how you feel. I hate it when my little Sophie shooses to sleep somewhere else. Something about having her snuggled up against my back is comforting. :)

Man that is almost as bad as having your kids grow up on you and get minds of thier own! How dare they??????

As far as the spinning, all I know is what I have read or figured out on my own. The ashford manual that came with my wheel was pretty much useless but I have bought 3 spinning books since I bought the wheel and they have helped a lot. Do you have a wheel? If so what kind......now I wat to spin with different kinds to see what the differences are......mine is a double drive....which I guess makes it easier to stop and start and in general just smoother......not sure on that though!??

Peanut Butter Perfume! LOL! Your pooches are too sweet. My pup does the same thing. The minute I get into bed off he goes! How they break our hearts.
