Meet Sardi

My niece Jenny sent me this picture of one of the cats at Tabby's Place where she works. This is Sardi, snuggled up on a blanket that Criquette made for her.

Sardi says "Thanks, Criquette. The lovely green blankie really sets off the color of my eyes. Oooops, eye." No, she is not winking. She only has one eye. This poor kitty has had a rough time of it, but thankfully is now in a lovely cat sanctuary, cared for by wonderful people. Click here to read more of Sardi's story.

Look at those long whiskers! I'll bet she's as soft as can be. So glad she has a home and loving people now!

She's still at the sanctuary NEEDING A HOME. She can be a bit nippy, if you read her story ... but it's understandable since she was abused earlier in life. Thankfully (for her AND ME!), she's not one of the kitties on any special medications ... you know, the things I need to dispense and the language barrier makes it very difficult to explain to that cats that do need meds that it's supposed to make them feel better. Geez!

YESSSSSS! She is the kitty I had in mind when I decided to make the snuggle. I'm so glad that sweet, nippy little girl got the snuggly goodness. Ask Jen to give her a special little hug for me (if Sardi's teeth don't get in the way).

Oh, Criquette (and blogging gang), you'll need to be checking my blog out as well because I've been taking pictures of your "snuggle" as I see it traveling around the sanctuary.

Whenever I find it in the clean basket, I put it with one of my favorite kitties, though volunteers also put it out as well in some of the rooms before I get to it. One of our new kitties, Buttons, was sleeping UNDER it the other day in her cage (caged since she's new). Photos are not up yet, but will be soon :)
