Dogs on Thursday

For this week's Dogs on Thursday, I would like to introduce Emma, Tara, and Cooper. Not the big Emma, Tara, and Cooper dogs that we all know and love... the MINI Emma, Tara and Cooper dogs. I admit it... I added them to the Wii! I made Miis of the dogs! That's not crazy, right? Nope. Everyone does that. Not crazy at all.

Here is mini Emma:
And mini Cooper:
And mini Tara!
You can choose the coloring and ears and tail, and even put different color collars on then. It is so much fun to find one of the dogs while you're cycling or running or on the Segway on the beach! Maybe in future versions of the software you will be able to add bandannas or bows or sweaters to the dogs, but for now, they run around nekkid.

I also put mom and dad in the Wii, along with my sister and niece. Absolutely not crazy, though, right? Guess who else I added to the Wii...

Colin Firth!
Harry Potter!
Alan Rickman!
Mark Harmon!
And Jane Austen!
Any suggestions of other Miis to add? I'm thinking Hugh Grant, Ciaran Hinds, Liam Neeson and Clark Gable. Still not crazy, right? Everybody does this, right? Please, please, please tell me everybody does this...

OK, gotta go now. Time for my morning work out with my Miips. Get it? My Mii peeps? Mii peeps are Miips???

Yeah, I'm crazy.

Definitely crazy.

Send Haloperidol.

Blu-uuu-uuuu-uuu-uuuue

If I were at all web-savvy, I would have LeAnn Rimes' song "Blue" playing for you right now, but it's not gonna happen. You know the song, though --
"Blue, oh, so lonesome for you,
Why can't you be blue over me,
Blue, oh, so lonesome for you,
Tears fill my eyes 'till I can't see."
That the song that was going through my head while I was walking the beach at Fortescue this morning. Why? Well, lookey what I found:

Blue glass!!! Lots of it!!! This is only a portion of today's haul. There was a boat-load of clear and brown glass, but I'm only picturing the blue and green here. Oh, and that one piece of white milk glass at the bottom of the picture. I have never, ever, ever found cobalt blue glass on the beach, but today there were several pieces of it, one piece of medium blue, and lots of light blue!

Of course, while I was there, I just had to check on "my" house...
No activity yet. I'm really hoping that it doesn't sell and the seller gets desperate and lowers the asking price. It's either that, or I have to win the lottery. I guess I should buy a ticket, eh?

By the way, observant readers might have noticed that the sea glass is sitting on the Wii Balance Board in the photograph. I needed something big and white for the glass to show up in the photo, and the BB was handy. I have to say that I am still loving the Wii, even though some of the games in Fit Plus really kick my butt. I have, however, mastered the Obstacle Course, thank-you-very-much! Just to know you what a Wii Geek I am, I took a photo of today's high score! On the Advanced Obstacle Course! It says I'm a "calorie incinerator" but it really means that I am "Queen of the World and Ruler of All Things Obstacle Course-like".

As much as this thing can pump you up, it can just as quickly dash your ego and send you into the depths of despair. Whenever I try to do the bubble ball, I inevitably end up with this:
Unbalanced! The nerve of this stupid game! I just hope it is referring to my physical and not my mental state...

Cooper says, "I am not impressed."

Oh, right...the dogs...

I totally missed yesterday's Dogs on Thursday post! Ooops! I can only claim extreme butt-kicking as an excuse. This week I finally found this in our local Wally World.

Yes, the Balance Board for the Wii Console. This thing is sooooo worth the money. I have never had so much fun in my own living room! (Sad, isn't it?) Anyway, who would think you could ride a Segway on the beach...
...run an obstacle course...
...and do tricks in a skateboard park all from the comfort of your living room!
I'd be back on the Wii right now if I wasn't so sore from last night's play err, workout session. Yeah, it's a workout, and it is kicking my butt.

If you came here looking for Dogs on Thursday, you might want to see this post from earlier this week, and here is a gratuitous shot of the babes.
Enjoy!
