Dogs on Thursday

We have another special guest for this week's Dogs on Thursday. Meet Maverick:

Isn't he just the most beautiful boy? He is a year or two old, and was found running on a highway in northern New Jersey, narrowly avoiding getting hit by cars. Fortunately, a kind person picked him up and contacted American Brittany Rescue. Last Sunday, he hopped a ride on the brittany express to his foster home in Alexandria, Virginia.

I love doing transports, but it's never easy letting these sweet dogs go, even after just an hour or so in the car. I want to keep every one of them and take them home and love them and keep them safe and warm. My ride with sweet Maverick started out just like every other transport, but somewhere between New Jersey and Maryland, I fell head over heels in love with this boy.
He is such a lover, and I really thought we had something special. Then we got to the meeting place in Maryland where he would start the next leg of his journey, and he just tossed me out like yesterday's rubbish and went into the next driver's car. He gave the next driver kisses...KISSES! In front of me!
I feel so used...

Luckily, this bunch of hooligans was waiting for me when I got home.
Who could ask for anything more?
