Dogs on Thursday on Friday

Well, another week has come and gone, and all I have managed to post is another Dogs On Thursday, only this one isn't on Thursday, it's on Friday. My excuse for this negligence? Well, I have lots of excuses, but none of them are any good, really. I just need to get my act together.

Anyway, when I stopped at mom and dad's yesterday on my way to work, mom gave me her copy of a recent Orvis catalog of dog products. Look at this little face:

I don't know if you can read it, but in the upper right hand corner, it says "Cooper questions authority." Cooper!!! Another brittany named Cooper, and he shows up in a magazine! My Cooper wants to know why they always picture the sweet young puppies to sell products. He says he can question authority as good as that young whippersnapper!

Just take a look at this face!
I'll buy anything this sweet boy is selling!

LOL! Having a theoretical adult dog who thinks some commands are optional, you know dang good and well YOUR Cooper knows far more about questioning authority that that pup!

say a prayer, a friend had a Basenji show up on his doorstep, skinny and so sweet. He can't keep it so he had i picked up. It went to Cumberland County SPCA on Tuesday. I contacted the rescue group. Someone emailed me last night for a photo . I begged them to let me know they got the photo and if they got the dog. Now answer. I am sick with worry.

Your Cooper looks like any second he's planning to jump up and give you a big kiss! Give him one from me!

Thank you so much for your kind note when my Garden Kitty died. His sister died three days later, so it's been pretty rough around here. Knowing I had blog friends who cared, and understood how I felt, was truly a comfort.

It's so weird to suddenly just have one cat - and he is missing his brother, probably wondering at the same time, why he is getting so much attention ...

Thanks again for writing.

I agree, that face could sell anything. How are your kids enduring the heat?

I don't know why they picked a young version of you Cooper dear, maybe your mommy isn't doing her job and sending your head shots off to the right people?

Abby wants to be in a peanut butter commercial! g
