A boy's gotta do...

...what a boy's gotta do. Cooper feels as though he has been largely ignored in recent weeks when it comes to the blog, so for this week's Dogs on Thursday, he wanted to make sure that he wasn't forgotten. What better way than to drape himself across his mommy's knitting?

He is curled up on the Shelly Kang Mitred Square Sock Yarn Blanket that I've been working on since...forever. Here's an old picture of it.
I have since added around 18" to its width, so it's getting too big to get a good picture of without standing on a chair or a step ladder.

Ooops, sorry Cooper. I got sidetracked. Today is all about you, you handsome thing.

Cooper says "You didn't really want to sit here, did you?" Of course not.

He's a doll. Sissy does the same thing if the Knight ignores her; she throws herself into his recliner and waits!

Love that blanket, good for using up odds and ends. When I get up and leave for just a minute, one of my dogs always climbs into my space, whether it's a chair or bed.

How's Tara?

Cooper is really handsome Dieanne. I'm sure he will move over so you can finish your blanket.

Cooper, that handsome boy, has excellent taste in choosing to snuggle with your gorgeous blanket!

Brown bag knitting--what a fun idea!

Cooper looks like he 'loves' your knitting as much as Sunny loves mine....If I lay on it she can't knit and will pay attention to me.

Cooper has the most soulful and expressive eyes - I just melted when I saw these pictures. The first picture is beautiful enough to be published somewhere.

And I am still in love with the blankie. I don't blame Cooper for claiming it!

I can't knit anywhere around the girls without someone "inspecting" what I am doing.

Besides, the hair is a great addition to the texture of the piece.
